The benefits of using LED for retractable sports lighting are:
- A typical tennis court requires 8 LED lights which uses just 1.6kW per hour and so they are inexpensive to run.
- Also they are inexpensive to install electrically, using small diameter armoured cable
- Longer lasting – no need to change bulbs frequently
Please note that when these new lights are in use they almost double in height from that shown in the photos.
